Fairfield Chamber of Commerce’s Solar Eclipse Watch Party was a big hit!
Visitors from Japan, Australia, Saudi Arabia, California, Houston (at top), Palestine, and of course Fairfield turned out to view this spectacular event at the Freestone County Fairgrounds on Monday, April 8, 2024.
The crowd enjoyed music, food, and activities for the kids.
The science fair had 65 projects entered by students from Fairfield, Teague, and Dew.
Winners included:
–First Place – Landree Pineda (right) of Dew
–Second Place – Isabeth Ross of Dew
–Third Place – Caroline Elliott of Fairfield
