Parents and couples who would like to have a date night to celebrate Valentines can enjoy their evening knowing their kids will be well taken care of and entertained while they enjoy their dinner.
Calvary Baptist Church will host their first annual ‘Community Date Night’ on Saturday, February 13th. Adults, youth and nursery staff will be available to assist with children from 6 months through high school age. Food will be available during the evening along with games, a devotional time and a brief worship service.
“The youth of CBC and some of our adults will offer childcare for the mommies and daddies of the community to enjoy an uninterrupted date while their kids are loved on and taught about Jesus”, stated youth minister David Skinner. “With all that’s been going on the past year, we wanted to give parents a night to enjoy by themselves while we get to love on their kiddos and teach them about Jesus.”
Donations are not required but encouraged to assist with expenses to send students to Christian summer camps.
Parents can leave their children at Calvary’s Life Center at 5 pm and pick them up at 8 pm. Each child will have their temperature taken when entering the center. Pre-registration is required no later than Thursday, February 11th.
Parents can register by going to https://ariseweekend.churchcenter.com/registrations, by email to cbcstudentsfairfield@gmail.com with the number of children and their age, or by contacting the church office at 903.389.2613. Calvary Baptist Church is located at 220 East Main in Fairfield.
