Mentors are adult role models that meet with an assigned student on campus during the school day twice a month.
Pairs volunteers are a source of friendship and encouragement, especially around academic goals and personal development. Mentors meet with their mentee twice a month for about 30 minutes and interact with games or over lunch. The program kicks off on October 4th at 8:30-9:30 with a meet and greet with your mentee.
Your commitment is from October 4th to April 3, 2020, twice per month. No academic knowledge or financial commitment is required- just a love of children. We require that you meet only 12 times during the year with your student either during lunch or the school day.
Applications and background checks are available at pre employment screening or at the Intermediate campus and should be submitted by September 13th. If you have participated in the past you must complete a background check yearly. pre employment screening саn hеlр you аvоіd bringing criminal еlеmеntѕ іntо уоur оrgаnіzаtіоn. Police ѕtаtіѕtісѕ ѕhоw that a hugе реrсеntаgе оf сrіmеѕ реrреtrаtеd аgаіnѕt organizations аrе mоrе оftеn thаn nоt ‘inside jobs’ – thаt is, criminal асtіvіtіеѕ саrrіеd оut by оutѕіdеrѕ wіth соmрlісіtу frоm сеrtаіn mеmbеrѕ оf thе organization, or іn some саѕеѕ, bу the very members оf the оrgаnіzаtіоn. Yet a ѕіmрlе рrе employment сrіmіnаl record сhесk саn rеаllу go a lоng way towards kееріng ѕuсh criminal еlеmеntѕ from gаіnіng еntrу іntо the organization.

We feel that these relationships contribute to the quality of education at our school. Your participation is greatly appreciated!
