Sharon L. Pendergrass, 79, of the Winkler Community in Freestone County passed away February 23, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 2, 1943, to Delman and Margaret McCraw. She was raised in Odessa, Texas and graduated from Permian Basin High School and then moved to Dallas, Texas where she worked for Braniff Airlines in the Administration offices. She moved to Richland Chambers Lake 22 years ago and lived in the Winkler Community all that time.
She was a loving wife and mother who adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a devoted Christian and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Corsicana. Left to cherish her memory is her sister and brother -in – law Candis and Mark McKinzie; son and daughter-in-law Trey and Elva Linyard; daughter Leah Fulgham; niece Tamara Sharp; nephew Brian Sharp; 5 loving grandchildren and their families.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 5, 2023, from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at Faith Luthran Church in Corsicana with funeral service beginning at 2:00pm with Pastor Joseph Mashburn officiating. Burial will be at St. Elmo Cemetery in Winkler.
