As Freestone Raceway makes the final preparations for the 14th annual James Stewart Spring Championship, we are excited to announce a long-anticipated partnership. The James Stewart Spring Championship will now be the Seven, James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship, presented by Tamer.
Just 1 year after our partnership with the Stewart family for the Spring Championship, Seven came to life as part of the James Stewart Entertainment brand. After 14 years of the Spring Championship carrying the James Stewart name, supporting riders and families who’ve earned a special ride day at the Stewart compound, we’ve come full circle with Seven joining as our title sponsor this year.
James’ vision for pushing the limits has lead him to create the Seven brand in 2013. The brand quickly grew and can be seen on athletes at every track in the nation and internationally. Seven is now a global leader in MX and athletic apparel being sold in over 40 countries worldwide.
Every Spring rider’s and their families come from all over the United States and multiple countries to compete in one of the roughest, toughest amateur race events of the year. The Seven James Stewart Spring Championship attracts athletes from the top level of the amateur racing scene.
The champion from every class wins an opportunity to visit James and his family and ride at his personal track in Florida every November.
Along with each champion another lucky rider from each class is selected for the “luck of the draw” award for performance on the track as well as behavior, and sportsmanship off the track. They too, will travel to Florida to attend the ride day.
Freestone Raceway is excited to come full circle to not only continue to carry James’ name on our event but now, also carry his brand as the title sponsor.
Tamer, established in 1998, forever changed the motocross industry with the invention of the holeshot starting device. At any given race nearly 50% of riders use Tamer’s holeshot device, giving the USA based company the majority share of participants. Tamer is 100% made in the USA with their entire focus solely on their line of holeshot devices both front and rear devices.
