Tracey and Steve Schlabra of Livingston, Texas, formerly of Fairfield, are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Thomas, to Emily DiSalvo, daughter of Lieutenant General and Mrs. Joseph DiSalvo of Miami, Florida.
Thomas is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Tedrow and the late Peggy Tedrow, of Fairfield.
Emily is the granddaughter of Major General (retired) and Mrs. John Little of Tampa, Florida. The weeding day will be taking place in New Jersey, where Emily’s family is currently living, wedding plans have been already made, The Quinta has been chosen as the wedding venue for the couple, only family members and closest friends will be attending.
Thomas is a 2011 graduate of Fairfield High School and a 2015 graduate of the University of Texas in Austin where he majored in Electrical Engineering.
He is employed with Capitol One in Plano, Texas.
Emily is a 2012 graduate of Killen High School and 2015 graduate of the University of Texas in Austin where she majored in Human Development. She will receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Women’s University in December.
A May wedding in New Jersey is planned with a honeymoon in Italy.
The couple will reside in Addison, Texas, where they have always wanted to build a house and a family.
