BROOKSHIRE BROTHERS IN FAIRFIELD Store Manager Brian Ingram told an important story, “Recently we had a customer that was having trouble getting his card to swipe at the register. He was having to put all of his groceries back, but his little boy was crying for his string cheese, so our assistant closing manager, Tina purchased the string cheese for the little boy.”

Ingram went on to say, “Sacker Max McBean was outside getting trash while the man was trying to call about his card. Max then helped the man talk to the people on the phone and then gave the man money out of his pocket to buy a few things to help feed his family.

The customer said there are not many young people out there these days that are as good-hearted as Max, and that he was extremely grateful.

When we asked Max about why he helped the customers, he said he had just gotten birthday money, and they needed it more than he did.”

We are humbled to live and serve with you, Max!
