Rose Gilbreath, 60 of Fairfield, TX passed away Sunday morning at East Texas Medical Center in Fairfield. She was born January 12,1956 in Corpus Christi to Thomas and Mildred Rayborn. Rose was a Realtor and was very active in the real estate industry. She was active with and loved her church family. The door of her home was always open and the coffee pot going for anyone who stopped by. Over the years Rose served as an advocate of troubled women. She loved people and had a heart of gold.
Rose enjoyed bird watching, listening to live music, sewing, cooking and reading. She loved spending time with her husband, children and her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Rayborn; brother Stephen Craig Rayborn.
She is survived by her loving husband Russell Gilbreath; children, Jasmine and Pressly Bonner of Kaufman, Jessica and Matt Burk of Wylie, Jordan and Greg Jackson of Fort Worth, Jaelan and John Mincey of Albuquerque, NM. Six grandchildren Aaron Bonner, Christopher, Clara and Valerie Burk, Elleri and Brooks Jackson. Father Thomas Rayborn; Brothers and sister, Thomas Rayborn, Larry Rayborn, Barbara Williams, Michael Rayborn and Alan Rayborn. Numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2 pm Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Griffin-Roughton chapel.
