A one-vehicle wreck on Friday, January 27, 2017 at about 4:00 p.m., left a 24-yr-old Palestine man in critical condition.
Reports say that the man, a welder, was traveling from work in Dew back home to Palestine; and as the car crossed Keechi Creek bridge, it left the east side of the road, rolling several times.
The man had to be extracted from the vehicle and was in critical condition when he was rushed from the scene. He was taken by life-flight to ETMC Tyler. (There is no word on his condition as of press time.)
Responding to the scene were DPS Troopers, area Game Warden, Fairfield EMS, Southern Oaks Fire Department, Butler Fire Department, and Dew Fire Department.
