Robert Lee Lane, 71, of Fairfield, TX went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2022. He was born September 21, 1950.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Lane. He was also preceded by his brothers – Jim, Mark, David and Danny and sisters – Jeanna and April Crook along with two grandchildren – Ta’shanna and Jordan.

Robert is survived by his mother, Joyce Bodine Lane of Fairfield; his wife, Donna Bryant Lane of Fairfield; two sons, Robert Lane Jr. and wife Dora of Corsicana, Richard Lane and wife Jennifer of Fairfield. He is also survived by four grandsons, Robert Daniel Lane and wife Brittany of Corsicana, Austin Lane and wife Sierra of Vernon, Steven Lane of Corsicana, and Gage Lane of Fairfield. Robert is survived by one granddaughter, Jillian Lane of Fairfield: four great grandsons, Matthew Lane, Eli Lane, Braxton Lane and Jordan Lane, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins along with numerous relatives and friends.

Robert graduated from Buffalo High School in 1969. He married his wife of 50 years, Donna Bryant, on March 13, 1971. Later that same year, Robert joined the Air Force and was stationed in Clovis, New Mexico at Cannon Air Force Base. He was honorably discharged in 1977. Robert was an avid hunter and outdoorsmen, a master mechanic, and loved spending time with family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, February 5th at the River of Life Family Worship Center.
