ROAD CLOSURE: IH-45 NORTHBOUND EXIT 198 CLOSURE BEGINNING WEDNESDAY

Note:  this article includes a correction received from TxDOT after office hours on Friday, August 16, 2024.

Effective August 21, 2024, IH 45 Northbound EXIT 198 to FM 27 will be closed.  Portable message signs will be placed in advance advising of the closure. Motorists will need to utilize EXIT 197 (US 84) to access FM 27 or find an alternate route.

This work is part of the $36,901,732.19 IH 45 Frontage Road project is contracted to A.L. Helmcamp, Inc. This entire project is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2027.
