December meeting is a special time for members of Freestone County Retired Teachers Association as they gather not only to celebrate the Christmas season, but also have their annual fundraiser through a live auction. The event will be a great opportunity to visit with fellow retired school employees.
Join them Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Harmony Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall in Fairfield. Mark your calendars and join in the fun.
Feel free to bring a finger food item to add to the buffet.
Also, feel free to bring an item for the auction.
What are the best items for the auction? Something someone else (or several others) might like to take home. After all, the fun of the auction is the competition to see who “wins.”
And, remember that the local chapter benefits from the competition.
The money raised is used to support projects of Freestone County Retired Teachers Association.
Feel free to wear Christmas shirts rather than our purple t-shirts for this meeting. Also, be ready to record your total volunteer hours so far for 2019.
