Freestone County Retired Teachers officers Doris Nealy and Mary Lee met with Dew ISD Librarian Elizabeth Jernigan and Superintendent Darell Evans to make donations to assist the Dew ISD Library in restoring and recovering from a recent fire that destroyed the total library.
The donations included $500.00 plus used and new books collected by members in the TRTA Annual Book Collection Project.
The donation included books from the Limestone County Retired Teachers Association. Doris Nealy, Book Project Chair, brought the library’s need to the attention of the officers at a recent FCRTA executive committee meeting.
