The Resurrection of Faith Tour, comprised of gospel music artists The Erwins and Joseph Habedank, will be presented in Palestine at First Baptist Church. The event will be held on Sunday, July 1st, beginning at 5:00 pm. There will be no admission charged and a free will offering will be received. An ice cream fellowship follows the service. The public is invited.
For more than 40 years, evangelist Dennis Erwin has been preaching revivals and crusades all across the United States. In recent years, he has stayed on the road in excess of 275 dates each year. On many of those dates, he is joined by The Erwins, a singing group comprised of his four children. The Erwins also appear as a group on many of the largest gospel concert stages in America, including the National Quartet Convention, the Southwest Festival of Gospel Music and Singing in the Sun.
Joseph Habedank became a household name in gospel music during his ten years as lead singer with The Perrys. Since that time, Joseph has established a popular solo ministry and has become known as one of gospel music’s best-known songwriters.
The Erwins will appear at both morning worship services (8:30 and 10:45 am) on Sunday, July 1st and will be joined by Habedank to present the “Resurrection of Faith Tour” for the concert that evening. The Tour is a unique combination of the artists in various combinations, presenting powerful gospel songs and testimony. In addition, Dennis Erwin will be bringing the message at the 8:30 am service.
