In just another month, Fairfield will host their 27TH ANNUAL SHOW OF WHEELS event on the courthouse square.
Come out and enjoy classic cars, trucks and motorcycles on the Freestone County Courthouse Square on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
Presented by the City of Fairfield and Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, this two-day event features over 40 judged classes and numerous specialty awards.
Register early for only $20 per vehicle. After September 1st, cost will be $25.

Entries will be parked around the Freestone County Courthouse Square on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for event goers. There will be food, vendors, cold drinks, clean restrooms, and plenty of shade.
Known for the Cast Iron Songs and Torch Ballads, live music will be provided by The FOG (Freakin’ Old Guys) playing, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s rock.
Members of the Bi-Stone Antique Tractor Club will also be displaying their best tractors and farm equipment.
Also of interest, the Trinity Star Arts Gallery will open with a showing of ‘ICONIC CAR ART’ created by artist Mike Seale.
Meet with the artist and view the art from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the square at 115 S. Mount Street. Sweets and treats will be served.
This is the artist’s second showing in Fairfield. He plans to offer watercolor portraits to Show of Wheel participants of their vehicles displayed during the event.

In coordination with the Show of Wheels event, the LADIES POKER STROLL will be held Saturday, September 6th. Shop local retailers for sales and a chance to win some prizes.

For those in town on Friday, September 5th there is a special event especially for kids: PEDALING WITH PICASSO paint party.
Hot dog dinner and refreshments will be provided.

And, in place of the annual city-wide garage sale, Fairfield will be participating in the 3-day, 3-state SALES ALONG 84 event.
Billed as the “South’s Longest Garage Sale,” this will include communities from Waco, Texas all the way to Laurel, Mississippi.
Just look for the yellow balloons displayed at participating locations on Thursday, Friday & Saturday, September 4, 5 & 6, 2025.

Last but not least, FAIRFIELD FARMERS MARKET is planned for Saturday, September 6th at Armadillo Emporium.
This will be their last date for 2025.
Products to include produce, eggs, chicken, beef, baked goods, handmade items and food trucks.
