Freestone County Fair & Rodeo Parade Registration is now open!
This year’s theme is “Keep Our Traditions Alive,” and Grand Marshall will be the hard-working FreeCo Area Go Texan Committee!
–Best Dressed Cowgirl and Cowboy is for ages 8 and under. Children must be able to sit on their horse themselves and reside in Freestone County. They can be led by another rider, NO WALKERS. Kids must be in their line up position by 6:00 p.m. for judging. Winners must ride in the designated entry position with one handler.
–NO throwing items of any kind from a moving vehicle. Anyone throwing anything will be asked to leave the parade. This is a safety issue. Please respect this new rule and keep everyone safe.
–Horse and Rider entries must remain at a walk throughout the parade route and stay in their position.
–Entries must remain in their entry position throughout the parade, do not pass the entry in front of you.
–Horse entries must have current coggins. These will be inspected.
