Teague Parkfest will be here before you know it, and you don’t want to miss it!
This year’s event will be held on Friday and Saturday, October 24-25, 2025, and offers a wide variety of events to participate in.
Friday
–Want to compete for best BBQ? There will be a BBQ Cookoff, beginning Friday into Saturday. Cost is $200 per team.
Registration meeting will be held on Friday at 5:00 p.m. under the pavilion.
Categories include Chicken, Ribs, Brisket, Cook’s Choice, and Jackpot Beans. Buckles will be awarded in each category and to overall winners.
–A Cornhole Tournament will be held under the pavilion. Bags fly at 7pm, hosted by FreeCo Area Go Texan. Register online.
Saturday
–First Annual Kid’s Choice Cookoff!! For Juniors (aged 8-12) and Seniors (aged 13-16).
Register by 9:00 a.m. and must be turned in by Noon. Each contestant must have one parent or mentor, aged 18 or up supervising at all times.
Entry fee is $25. This is a Jackpot style cookoff, with 50% of the pot going to the winner, along with a trophy.

–Beginning at 9:00 a.m., Vendors selling food, crafts, games, gift items, and more will open, and the Car & Bike Show will be ready for viewing. To register as a vendor or for the car & bike show, there is a $25 fee and registration/check-in is at 8:30 a.m.
–Also, at 9:00 a.m., there will be a Volleyball Tourney. This event will have co-ed 5-person teams playing on an outdoor grass field.
Registration fee is $80 per team, with proceeds going to scholarships. Call 903-390-3257 to sign up.
–At 10:30 a.m. there will be a Pet Costume Contest.
