Fairfield Soccer Fc is now open for spring registration. We have some amazing things taking place and working towards the huge goal of getting soccer into our school system!
At this time, we currently have a group of high-school aged kids that have showed interest and taken initiative to get a t3amtogether, make practices, and games. Just hearing that they just want to play is our end goal! So, we are also looking for kids in Fairfield high-school and Jr high-school that would be interested in creating a club team that will hopefully become a school team. As for spring season. We would like to start the season early March and end by 2nd week of April. Exact dates will be determined depending on sign ups. We try hard to schedule our games where it won’t interfere with other sports. In order for us to show FISD that there is an interest in the most universal sport in the world; here in Fairfield Texas. I personally have watched soccer starts graduate and never truly get to play the sport that had their hearts and that’s just not fair.
So, registration of your 3 year old today is important for all those who want to play in school now and later. Each registration shows more interest for this sport to be an interest at school.
We are also looking for volunteers. We have revamped and lost a lot of our board members to kids growing up, moving out of town, and we need help! We need help with coaching, field work, running the registrations, and everyday tasks. This is a great way to volunteer and be an advocate to build something greater than what we can see at the moment.
Last but not least, we need refs. We need ages 13 and up willing to invest $85 in getting certified. They can also go to any NTX Soccer event and make money.
Registration is $65 amd ends on 2/19.
The more teams we have, the more games we play and are able to play more games locally.
8u and younger play in Fairfield.
10u and older will travel and have games locally. The more kids involved, the less we have to travel. The least kids involved, the more that age will travel.
