Fairfield Eagle boys powerlifting competed Saturday at the Region 2 Division 3 meet in West, with three Eagles qualifying for the State Meet and several strong finishes.
Yoel Munoz — 4th place, 114 lb. class
Austin Solis — 1st place, 148 lb. class (Champion)
Gage Wendt — 3rd place, 148 lb. class
Mason Edwards — 5th place, 220 lb. class
Austin, Gage, and Mason will compete at the State Meet in Abilene on March 27.
Austin was also named Most Outstanding Squatter on the lightweight platforms.
Other team members competing were Francisco Espinoza, Logan Williams, Armando Charles, AJ Garcia, and Garrett Bosley.
