We were able to forget all about the virus, not going all the places we want to go to, wearing a mask and gloves for a while this mid-afternoon. My son, Chad, who is a pilot and has two planes, a Bonanza and a Thorp. The Thorp is an aerobatic plane and he has shown off a couple of times for us. Today, he was flying the Bonanza. It is a fast plane, but he can’t do aerobatics in it. I had finished feeding the Beagles, MO and Tasha and was busy picking up sticks and small limbs that had fallen in the yard. Suddenly, I heard this roar of a motor and knew my son was “buzzing” the house!

He might as well had been doing aerobatics as he came so low and so fast and then climbed just as fast! We were in the front yard waving to him except I was waving, get up higher, higher! It was a real heart stopper when he came over the antenna tower. I just knew he was going to hit it. I don’t know why I would think that because the FAA flight reviewer said Chad was a natural pilot. I don’t like to fly on commercial planes because I don’t know who is flying the plane, maybe he had a fight with his wife before he came to work that day, or maybe he had been drinking, or whatever. But with my own son, I feel very confident that he will get us to where we want to go without any problems. He is a natural pilot and he loves to fly.

Today, he gave two people at the Red Oak Ranch a marvelous air show and made us incredibly happy!
