There is nothing like having a ditch filled with water! Especially when it suddenly appears! We walked the line, we drove the line, we crossed the line. Finally decided to dig up the line. Our cows are beautiful, peaceful, and downright dumb! They will not walk very far for water so they walked into the ditch and broke the water line even though it is buried deep enough. We found out they had walked on some rocks and the rocks pinched a little hole in the line.
Even a little hole leaks a lot of water. We discovered where the hole was on one day and worked on it the next day to fix it. Of course, the next day was cold, windy, and it was raining.
But it is fixed now for how long we don’t know. We are going to fill the whole ditch in with concrete so that, hopefully can’t happen again!
