More businesses and activities were opened by Governor Abbott Friday, May 22, 2020, as part of his efforts to reopen the State of Texas businesses and get the economy going strong again.
He began with an amendment to Executive Order GA-23 that allows food courts inside shopping malls to reopen for business.
He also allowed all driver education to be allowed to resume immediately.
Additional additions to GA-23 is the allowance of Water Parks to reopen at 25% of normal operating limits as determined by venue owner, or 25% of total listen occupancy for inside Water Parks.
Adult recreational sport programs may begin practices, with games not allowed until Monday, June 15, 2020.
