A reading of the Declaration of Independence will be conducted in front of the Freestone County Courthouse (beside the cannon) beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022.
Attorneys Michelle Latray and Raymond Sanders will conduct the reading on behalf of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Central Texas Defense Bar.
The community is invited to mark the occasion of our country’s Independence Day with the event.
