RECEIVING THE 2024 Texas State Soil & Water Conservation Area IV Conservation Rancher Award (at top) is Emmons Ranch (Steve and Cindy Emmons, along with their two granddaughters).
The family was honored at the Area IV Awards Banquet on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, held in Rusk, Texas. Freestone County SWCD was very proud to enter them for this award.
With the family are Texas State SWC Board Chairman David Basinger, Chairman Manning Stephens Jr, Vice Chairman Bradley Ezell, and Board Secretary Deb Manahan of the Freestone County SWCD.
ALSO RECOGNIZED by Freestone County Soil & Water Conservation District are the Texas State Soil & Water Conservation Area IV Essay Winners, Lorelai Croteau – First Place and Kiersan Weinman – Third Place.
The two were honored at the Area IV Conservation Awards Banquet held in Rusk on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
