The Freestone Quilt Guild presented quillows (a quilt that folds into a pillow) to the Freestone Cancer Support Group. These quilts are given to Freestone County residents undergoing chemo treatment.
The quilt guild meets the first Monday of the month at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church Fairfield and the Freestone Cancer Support Group meets the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the Fairfield Public Library.
The cancer support group helps cancer patients living in Freestone County with travel expenses while undergoing treatment. For more information go to http://fcsginc.org
