Lending his smooth, country voice to the Fajitas & Margaritas Progressive Dinner held this weekend is the Freestone Man himself, Peter Sinclair.

More than 90 people attended the historical fundraiser, with appetizers, entrées and desserts served at the Moody-Bradley House (pictured), as well as the Freestone County Historical Museum and Freestone County Courthouse.

According to Fairfield History Club member, Diane Pullin, attendees included lots of people who had never before visited the museum or Moody-Bradley House. “[They] learned about the grant for the much-needed restoration of the 100-plus-year-old courthouse,” she said.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Freestone County Historical Commission and the Fairfield History Club Scholarship Funds and Community Outreach Projects.
