This was the last week that voters will have to make their choice known in local City and School Elections.

Early voting period ended on Tuesday.

Election Day is Saturday, May 5, 2018 with polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

City of Streetman

City of Teague
–Teague City Hall, 105 South 4th Avenue

City of Wortham
–Wortham ISD Administration Building, 201 South 4th Street, Wortham
–Kirvin Volunteer Fire Dept, 439 Sessions Street, Kirvin

Fairfield ISD
–Fairfield City Hall, 222 South Mount Street (Pct 1, 2 & 9)
–Streetman City Hall, 204 Main Street (Pct 6, 8, 15 & Navarro County Pct 308)
–Butler Community Center, 1628 FM 489 East (Pct 11 & 12)

Wortham ISD
–Wortham ISD Administration Building, 201 South 4th Street (Pct 2, 4 &7)
–Kirvin Volunteer Fire Dept, 439 Sessions Street (Pct 6)

Candidates running for office this term include:

CITY OF FAIRFIELD – Mayor: Kenneth Hughes and Luke Ward, Jr.; Councilman Place 1: incumbent Joe Lee Kirgan, Jr. and James Tyus; Councilman Place 2: incumbent Randy Johnson and William (Bill) Rogillio.

CITY OF TEAGUE – Mayor: Jack Hansel, (Wild) Bill May, Daniel “Corey” Turner, Andrew “Drew” Wolf, and James Monks; Alderman Place 1: incumbent Melvin Mims and Jerry Ballew; Alderman Place 3: incumbent Marie Hertenberger and write-in candidate Dennis Cox.

CITY OF STREETMAN – Mayor: incumbent Johnny Robinson and Billy R. Butler; Two “At-Large” Commissioners: incumbents Heather Davis and Barbara Polk.

CITY OF WORTHAM – Three “At-Large” Council Places: incumbents Jeff Carr, John Tacker, and Frank McClellan; and contenders Michael Busby, Kyle Calame, and Susan Gibbs.

FAIRFIELD ISD – Two “At-Large” Board Members: incumbent Eric Chavers, Kirby Flandry, Willie Dowell and Tony Leadbetter.

WORTHAM ISD – Board Member Place 1: incumbent Billy Perez; Board Member Place 2: incumbent Doug Miller and write-in candidate Waylon Gierisch.
