Accepting a plea bargain to take five years of probation in lieu of two years in state jail for two counts of Driving While Intoxicated With A Child is Fairfield woman, Haley Newsom.
According to her dwi lawyer, Ms. Newsom was indicted in September 2017 for operating a motor vehicle while she was intoxicated (alcohol). She had her children with her in the vehicle, both of which were under the age of 15 when the incident occurred in May 2017.
In addition to probation, she has been ordered to pay a fine of $1,500 and court costs totaling $483.
