Freestone County youth, and a couple of adults, showcased their favorite pets during the annual Pet Show, sponsored by Lena’s Groom & Board Resort of Fairfield, held Saturday afternoon at the Ike Carden Pavillion of the Moody Reunion Fairgrounds in Fairfield.
Taking home Best in Show Cat was Lilly with her kitten, Fluffy.
Best in Show Dog was awarded to Kaylie and her Black Lab, Molly; and Reserve Dog was given to Sarah and her Yorkie, Sophie.
Most Unusual Pet was awarded to Heather with her Sulcata Tortoise, Leonardo.
All of those listed above were honored with a special trophy.
