Lone Star Baptist Church, located in Oakwood, Texas, is currently seeking a bi-vocational pastor to lead our congregation. We are a small, faithful body of believers, committed to biblical teaching, community outreach, and spiritual growth.
The Pastor will work closely with the Deacon Board in fulfilling the mission of Lone Star Baptist Church. The Pastor must be a strong leader with a servant’s heart, preach the Word of God without compromise, provide instruction on growth and in discipleship, and teach the Word of God, with an emphasis on church growth and community outreach involvement. The ideal candidate must have Pastoral experience, called to ministry, possess strong leadership skills, and be a strong motivational and team spirited leader.

Our Sunday School starts at 10:00 AM, Sunday Morning Worship starts at 11:15 AM, and our weekly Bible Study is Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM (conference line). Our ministries include Lionhearted Women Ministry for our women, Monday evenings at 7:00 PM (conference line) and Jacob’s Ladder Ministry for our men, Tuesday mornings at 9:00 AM (conference line).
