Dr. Vaughn is double board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Internal Medicine. She specializes in adult & pediatric general health and wellness, adult and child immunizations, chronic disease management, acute care, annual school & sports physicals and more.
Dr. Vaughn is a native Texan who grew up in Irving. She attended The University of Dallas for her undergraduate studies and then went on to The University of Houston Health Science Center for her Medical degree. After completing medical school in Houston she moved to Birmingham Alabama where she completed her medical residency at The University of Alabama. Dr. Vaughn has a passion for Rural Medicine which stemmed from her practicing medicine in Sweetwater and San Angelo Texas. She still keeps in contact with many of the people within those communities still to this day. She loves getting involved and being active in the communities in which she practices. Dr. Vaughn also has a 7-year-old daughter and enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies and interests include watching soccer and rooting for her favorite team, the Manchester United Red Devils and she loves all things Disney.
