Park Closures at Fairfield Lake State Park begin Sunday, December 29th, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. through 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 3rd, 2019. They close again Tuesday, January 7th, 2020 to Friday, January 10th, 2020.
The draw hunts will be active during the park closures.
Conservation and management of public wildlife and habitat resources are handled through this system.
The hunts also allow for low cost recreational hunting for Texans.
Only people participating and park employees are allowed in the parks during the event.
It is unknown if there will be standbys for the hunt, but the park will known closer to the date of the hunts.
