Santa Claus will arrive by train in Teague, Texas around 3:30 p.m. this Thursday, December 7th. He will then travel to the Teague Community Center to visit with children until about 5:30 p.m. before jumping on the fire truck for the parade.
The annual Teague Christmas Parade will take over Main Street beginning at 6:00 p.m.
For those wishing to enter a float, registrations may be turned in at Teague City Hall. There is no cost to enter; line-up is at 5:30 p.m.
Visits, and pictures, with Santa Claus will continue at the Community Center following the parade.
For those feeling hungry, a Hamburger Fundraiser is being hosted by the First United Methodist Church.
Hamburgers, including chips and dessert, will be sold for $6 a plate. Proceeds benefit Christmas Kids.
