This year’s meeting features more than forty sessions showcasing the work of top Texas history scholars and historians. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to network with fellow history enthusiasts, enjoy delicious food and drinks, tour historic collections and venues, and shop Texana products from popular exhibitors.

–Special Events at TSHA’s Annual Meeting

Thursday’s events include the Women in Texas History Luncheon and the President-Elect’s Reception. The reception will be held off-site at the Tejano Civil Rights Museum, where we will welcome Emilio Zamora as our incoming president.

On Friday we will hold the Book Lover’s Breakfast and the Fellows Luncheon. In the evening, you can join us for the annual President’s Dinner to honor TSHA’s outgoing president, Sarita Hixon.

Sign up for the optional Saturday tour of the Old Bayview Cemetery, the oldest federal military cemetery in Texas. In addition to the tour, you can join fellow attendees for a ceremonial “Toast to Texas.”
