With glowing reviews from patrons, you don’t want to miss your chance to see Palestine Community Theatre’s (PCT) production of “The Addams Family: A New Musical Comedy” at the historic Texas Theatre in downtown Palestine, 213 W. Crawford. The show will run for only one more four-day weekend this Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with curtain Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 PM and on Sunday at 2:00 PM.
The production is sponsored by Nucor-Vulcraft and is a continuation of the story of the Addams family from years past. Wednesday has grown up and fallen in love with a “normal” boy, and the family and ghosts of Addams ancestors must find a way to get along with the boyfriend’s “normal” family. After seeing the show, patrons, who’ve come from not only Palestine and surrounding communities, but also the Dallas and Houston areas and even as far away as Arkansas, have said things such as, “very entertaining,” “amazing talent,” “wonderful production,” and “this is one of my favorites.”
Tickets are still available for all performances and can be purchased locally at Palestine Chamber of Commerce, Palestine Visitor Center, Blake Furniture, and Discount Pools, and online at www.outhousetickets.com. Tickets can also be reserved by visiting the PCT website, www.thetexastheater.com, and completing the Will Call form. Please remember PCT is an all-volunteer organization. You will receive a confirmation for your Will Call submission, but it will be in the afternoon after the normal work day.
