With schools releasing this weekend and Christmas just a week away, kids are going to be home and excited.


What better way to spend family time than at any of the Christmas events going on in Freestone County.


The Holiday Bingo card’s last day is Wednesday, December 18th, 2019 in Fairfield, Texas. Get shopping done at local businesses, fill in your card, and maybe win BIG.


Friday, December 20th at 3:00 p.m. there will be an Ornament Workshop in the Dining Hall at Fairfield Lake State Park. The event is free, although you still do need to pay to get into the park.


Once you have your ornaments from Fairfield Lake, you can head to Fairfield Library at 5:00 p.m. to decorate cookies and have a great time visiting with Santa.


Jingle All the Way will be hopping on the Courthouse Square Saturday, December 21st. starting at 2:00 p.m.


Hear who the lucky Holiday Lamp Post winners are, enjoy the baked goods sale from Faith Academy, admire the beauty of the Nativity Scene at 6:30 p.m., and go down the ice slide.


Make sure and bring your donation items for the Blue Santa Toy Drive helping Children in Need and the 12 Days of Christmas benefitting the Nursing Home Ministry.


To wrap up Saturday, at 6:00 p.m. head over to Harmony Community Church in Stewards Mill to continue your Christmas Celebration, we’ll be decorating with Christmas SVG, you are free to join us. This festive event greets you with lamplight as a cedar tree is decorated with handmade ornaments and the Christmas Story is told.


Check out the vendors Friday, December 20th through Sunday, December 22nd at the Market Days, and Saturday, December 21st Downtown Market will offer even more delightful goodies to help pick up your final gift items.


Teague, Texas has numerous lights to enjoy all over town, and in their parks. Make sure to drive by and let the excitement of Christmas lights overtake you.


Christmas Day will be the 2nd Annual Community Christmas Dinner in Teague, Texas at the Community Center at 1:00 p.m.
