The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Texas will host a meeting of the State Technical Committee on Oct. 20, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to noon via teleconference / webinar.

To join the teleconference, dial 1-888-844-9904 and use access code 1946147. To join the webinar, connect to the following URL in your web browser: http://nrcs.adobeconnect.com/tx-stac/.

Through the State Technical Committee meeting, NRCS seeks input from Texas citizens and representatives of organizations and agencies on natural resource priorities and concerns. This input will help guide the delivery of NRCS conservation programs and technical assistance within the state. NRCS and other USDA agencies will provide brief updates on Farm Bill programs and be available for participants to ask questions and offer suggestions.

Questions can be directed to Rob Ziehr, NRCS assistant state conservationist for partnerships for Texas, at (254) 742-9888 or robert.ziehr@usda.gov. Those unable to attend the State Technical Committee meeting are encouraged to have a representative join in their place. Participants are encouraged to submit written comments and suggestions.

Persons with disabilities who plan to join this meeting and may need auxiliary aids or services or persons who are deaf or hearing impaired are requested to contact Rob Ziehr at 254-742-9888 by Oct.15 so appropriate arrangements can be made.
