On Thursday, October 2, 2025 at approximately 10:00 a.m. the City of Teague will be replacing a leaking valve and fire hydrant on Highway 179.
Once the area is excavated, we will have to temporarily turn off the water from FM 553 going east toward Parkwood. Some residents close to this area may experience low water pressure to no water for the period of time.
The work should be completed within a couple of hours.
