The Institute for Family Business at Baylor University is now accepting nominations for the 29th Annual Texas Family Business of the Year Awards. The Institute hosts this annual awards program to recognize and honor outstanding family enterprises from across the state of Texas. Nominations will be accepted until April 30, 2018.

“Our goal with this award is to recognize firms who show concern for their family and its role in the business and community,” said Terry Maness, dean of the Hankamer School of Business. “Nominees will be considered based on community commitment, family values and successful business management. Winners are chosen from three general categories – large (more than 151 employees), medium (51-150 employees) and small (50 or fewer employees). Outstanding firms are also honored in the special categories of Family Values Award, Community Commitment Award, Fastest-Growing Family Business Award, Well-Managed Family Business Award, Founders Award, Young Family Business Award, Heritage Award and Stewardship Award.
