The 4th Annual School Supply Give Away will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Fairfield’s city park.

This event is for all children in grades pre-K through 12th grade.

Each student will receive a backpack with supplies to help them get the new school year started on the right foot.

Beginning at noon that day, backpacks will be available on a first come, first serve basis. There will also be hotdogs, chips, and drinks available for the kids.

If you have a young man in need of a back-to-school haircut, the first 10 (ten) parents to TEXT David Brackens at 903-519-4567 will receive a FREE haircut by Corey Shed of Blades of Corey, located on Highway 84 in Fairfield.

Supplies needed include backpacks, pens, pencils, erasers, markers, crayons, scissors, glue, paper, notebooks, folders, rulers, etc.

Drop off locations, through Tuesday, July 30th, include Freestone County Sheriff’s Office, Freestone County Farm Bureau, Good Neighbor’s Cleaners, Capps Hardware & Ag Center, Eagle Insurance, Fairfield Shaved Ice, Fairfield Nursing & Rehab, El Jimador, and Simpson Fireworks is offering a discount in exchange for donations.
