Newspaper Sales Discontinued at Cefco Stores in Wortham, Mexia

Last week, our newspaper was informed that CEFCO has made the decision to discontinue newspaper sales at their gas stations and convenience stores.

For Freestone County Times, this will affect one location in Wortham and two locations in Mexia.

This is a company-wide decision for CEFCO, and includes all publications.

Next week’s May 3, 2023 edition will be our last to be delivered to our local CEFCO stores in Freestone and Limestone counties.

The Times may be purchased on the newsstand (just $1 each) in Mexia at Charlie’s Exxon on the southwest intersection of Hwy 84 and Hwy 14.

We are also looking for an alternative location in Wortham.
