Help every child ride safely
Motor vehicle crashes remain a leading cause of death among children—but together, we can change that. Start the year by committing to protect our youngest passengers.
The “Please Be Seated” program, managed by the Texas Department of Transportation – Bryan District’s Traffic Safety Specialist, gives you the power to make a difference. If you see a child riding unrestrained in a vehicle, report it anonymously. TxDOT will reach out to the family with free education and support—no judgment, just help.
Every child deserves a safe ride. Let’s make 2026 the year we put safety first. Together, we can protect our littlest passengers!
