Please join Farfield Lake State Park in congratulating Daniel Stauffer as Park Superintendent of Fairfield Lake State Park.
Daniel earned his Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of North Texas and has worked for Texas State Parks since 2016, when he began his career as a Customer Service Representative at Mother Neff State Park.
In 2017, he promoted into the Assistant Office Manager position at Fairfield Lake State Park.
During his time as Assistant Office Manager, he and the Office Manager not only did outstanding work leading the administrative team, but they took Fairfield Lake SP to another level with interpretation, education, and outreach.
Daniel’s creativity, work ethic, and tenacious spirit have led the park in forming new partnerships, increasing programming, building a robust social media presence, and creating visitors that are excited about more than fishing for tilapia.
Daniel genuinely cares about the team at Fairfield Lake SP and has continuously demonstrated great stewardship of each team member and the operation since December, when he was asked to serve in an Acting Superintendent capacity.
The future of Fairfield Lake SP looks bright and exciting with Daniel leading our efforts there.
Park staff would like to thank Daniel for his dedication, perseverance, and stellar attitude. Congratulations!
