Eagle Field will be getting a new scoreboard, thanks to a donation from Community National Bank & Trust. The donation was accepted during a December 11, 2019 Regular Meeting of Fairfield ISD School Board.

Also during the meeting, the 2018-2019 Fairfield ISD financial audit was approved. The District’s financial situation saw an increase in fund balance of a little over $1,000,000, according to Superintendent Dr. Jason Adams.

The facility planning committee reported discussions of renovations for each campus, including a secure front entrance for the High School and safety upgrades for Elementary and Intermediate.

District enrollment is holding steady at 1,792 students.

Procedures for the Guardian Plan were approved.

Two board members, John Fryer and Kevin Benedict, will be up for re-election in May of 2020. Candidate filings will open on January 15th. Last day to file is February 14th.
