More than twenty former Queens in attendance for 100th Year Anniversary of the County Fair
The beauty of Freestone County took over the stage during Fair Week.
Nearly one hundred young ladies competed in the 2022 Miss Freestone County Scholarship Pageant, from 18 years down to 18 months and younger.
On Tuesday, June 14th, following a two-year hiatus, a new Miss Teen and Miss Freestone County were officially crowned.
Emceed by Miss Texas, our very own Mallory Fuller, the evening extravaganza began with in introduction of past royalty. More than twenty former beauty queens attended the 100th Year Anniversary!
Also introduced that evening were the 2022 Children’s Pageant royalty, who had been crowned last Saturday, June 11th. They include: Infant Miss – Finley Idlett; Baby Miss – Abbigayle Dawson; Toddler Miss – Poppy Stone; Tiny Miss – Candace Presutti; Mini Miss – Ivyanna Griffin; Petite Miss – Emma Joy Baxter; Litte Miss – Harper Easter; Young Miss – Haylee West; Junior Miss – Savannah Fulmer; and Preteen Miss – Charliee Prasil.

Ten young ladies competed for Miss Teen and six vied for Miss Freestone County.
The young ladies modeled both casual and formal wear, and were interviewed onstage before the audience.
During the wardrobe changes, and while judges deliberated, the crowd was entertained by Miss Texas, Miss Colleyville – Chloe Sifford, and Miss Teen Freestone County 2019 – Jaysa Smith.
Prior to announcing the winners, a ‘Farewell to Reigning Royalty’ was given to Miss Freestone County 2019 Caitlin Meister and Miss Teen Freestone County 2019 Jaysa Smith.
Earning the title of Miss Congeniality were Teen Contestant Paige Brown (above) and Miss Contestant Rylee Wilson.
Receiving a $250 Sponsorship Award were Teen Contestant Nevaeh Coaster.
Miss Contestant Kayden Dallas also received a $250 Sponsorship Award.
Miss contestant Rylee Wilson was also presented a $250 Overcomer Scholarship.
First Runner Up went to Teen Contestant Makenna Eppes (above right) and Miss Contestant Marissa Eppes (above left), each receiving a $500 scholarship.
Crowned as Miss Teen Freestone County was Kenady Morris, with a $750 scholarship.
And crowned as Miss Freestone County 2022 was Makensy Isaacs, receiving a $750 scholarship.
Congratulations, to these young ladies.
Pageant Director was Emily Goodson. Program sponsors included Good Neighbor Cleaners, DJ Moore Soundz, The Edge Dance Company, and Bella Nails and Spa.
Following the pageant, the Honorable Princess award was presented to Jordan Lawrence at her home. She is a Freestone County ten-year-old who is battling leukemia.
