Receiving flowers and congratulations from Fairfield High School Principal Sonya Gibson is Fairfield’s 2023 Homecoming Queen — Charlee Brackens (at top). Passing along the crown is Blayke Brackens, standing in for her sister McKinna, last year’s Homecoming Queen.
Fairfield High School celebrated their 2023 Homecoming game with a week-long celebration.
Homecoming Court was introduced during the Pep Rally, including junior duchess Jimilyah Nash (wearing mum).
Freshman duchess was Reese Beaver, and sophomore duchess was Kaylee Williams.
For a bit of fun, coaches judges the Miss Eagle contest.
Freshman nominee performed a twirling number.
Sophomore nominee did a song and dance, while the junior nominee played the guitar and executed a couple of flips.
The star of the show was senior Rowdy Hand. He won the sash by a vote of applause.
Then, athletes joined the cheerleaders on the floor for a final cheer and dance.
At the game later that evening, Twirlers and Flags Corps of the Grand Band from Eagle Land stand at attention for the fanfare and National Anthem prior to the kickoff against Robinson.
Homecoming Court includes FHS seniors Linsey Cockerell, Queen Charlee Brackens, Kayden Dallas, and La’Zariah Robinson.
What a great Homecoming!
