The Friends of Fort Boggy State Park will meet on Wednesday, October 16th at the Centerville Municipal Building across from the Post Office.
We will start gathering at 11:30 a.m. for a lite lunch and the meeting will begin at 12 noon. This will be the last meeting in 2024.
Park staff will update the membership on any upcoming activities and projects planned for the park as well as what has been accomplished since our last meeting. We will also be introducing our new park superintendent and discussing preparations for the upcoming “8th Annual Kid Fish” and signing up volunteers to assist at the event.
This meeting is open to the public and we encourage anyone with an interest in Fort Boggy State Park to come and join us.
The Friends of Fort Boggy is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and assisting Fort Boggy State Park in its mission of connecting youth and families to the great outdoors.
