Wortham High School is thrilled to announce their new Pharmacy Technician and Fire Academy Programs launching in the 2025-2026 school year!
The Pharmacy Technician program will give students hands-on experience in pharmacy practice, prescription interpretation, compounding, and more, preparing them for a rewarding career as a pharmacy tech.
With clinical experiences in local pharmacies and a curriculum designed to meet industry standards, students will be ready to earn credentials and jumpstart their future in healthcare.
WHS is also looking to partner with a major university to establish a pipeline for students that are interested in becoming a Pharmacist. More info to come.
The Fire Academy will give students the opportunity to train in fire safety, emergency response, and firefighting skills, setting them on the path to becoming certified firefighters after graduation.
Students will gain hands-on experience, learn from industry professionals, and be ready to serve their communities in one of the most respected careers out there.
