The Freestone County historical Museum excitedly announced the arrival of its newest book, “The Year in 1890 in Freestone County”.
Nancy Rula, genealogist and board secretary, transcribed the book.
She picked the year 1890 due to its lack of being in the census records, feeling this would be a great tool for genealogist proving that their ancestors were here in 1890.
The book also includes information on the Masonic Lodges in Freestone County.
The years 1891 through 1899 will be published next year.
