Several added events may bring even more people out for the annual Freestone County Fair & Rodeo being held June 12-17, 2017.
Goat Roping for kids 12 & Under will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday thru Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Cost is 3 head for $10.
Ag Mechanics Show will start on Monday, June 12 at 1:00 p.m. with projects from local Freestone County High School students.
Go-Texan Washers & Horseshoes will return to the lineup on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. in the rodeo arena.
Home & Garden Show will host several extra events, including the Southwest Dairy Trailer on Wednesday morning, a Patriotic Quilt Display, and Story Time for the kiddos.
Rodeo Contractor for 2017 is J & J Rodeo Company of Cooper, Texas.
Nightly Entertainment at 8:00 p.m. under the pavilion will feature several popular musical acts. Mark your calendars for:

–Tuesday: Acoustic set with members from Pushwater, Down & Out, and with Mando Salas
–Wednesday: Heritage Cowboy Church of Freestone County
–Thursday: Steve Idlett and Down & Out
–Friday: Jerrett Zoch and the OSR Band
–Saturday: The Lanky Moore Band
